okay

we are live oh great great good  for you good for you good for you

god bless you figured that out i don't  know what happened and i want to welcome

i want to welcome everybody to the world  according to that man benjamin jeremy

stein and of course we're

joined tonight with some technical difficulties  we're joined tonight from 931 wibc bam

and we have still have that echo issue and um  you heard that again rob didn't you i heard

it we'll make it work though it's all right  something's going on with ben's microphone

but we will make it work the microphone will  just use the microphone on the computer we did

okay here's the thing ben you gotta move a little  closer to your computer okay you look beautiful

thank you but but of course this show wouldn't  be complete without actor writer saints in her

love or father uh that doctor doctor doctor  yogurt aficionado yes and herbal tea herbal tea

um and let me know if you're still hearing that  echo rob because i i i wouldn't know what to do

at this point um we will have a but i think that's  what's what sort of makes us different and what

separates us is how unprofessional we truly are  and it's what makes us lovable with the people

out there it's what uh people are attracted to us  it's why so many people have been downloading this

podcast thank you everybody for all the downloads  we are humbled we are touched we are in your debt

um overwhelmed we are overwhelmed we are truly  overwhelmed by the by the overworld support

and um i don't want to welcome everybody to the  world according to ben stein like i said rob

kendall from 1931 ben stein america's humble  servant remember everybody go to rumble.com

also apple podcast and of course ben the most  important ben stein's email benstein.substance.com

ben stein at the american spectator don't forget  that spectator.org i always get to that ben right

off the bat i want to get into something because  it's really bothering me this thing they're

calling the january 6 commission that they want  to put together or oh i've seen about that that's

crazy or as i call it the january 6th crucifixion  ben stein oh very good and i'm thinking to myself

of all the things for the last year they want  to do a commission on of course it's one more

chance to stomp on not just trump's neck the  but the neck of his voters they just want to

absolutely make us kneel into absolute submission  ben stein um kevin mccarthy says he's not on

board at least it i want to get into something  else but so kevin mccarthy's not on board but

this idea that they're going to have a commission  about january 6th it's just comical i mean i mean

what is there what is there to know it was all  videotaped it was all there it was all there it is

as if there was any kind of secret conspiracy like  911 or like the assassination of john f kennedy

uh what what is there to learn as you say it's  just an opportunity to let the media crucify

trump and crucify his followers again why why are  they so fuc why are they so [ __ ] afraid of trump

you know you raise the greatest question  right i i think i know why i think i know

because i think he is the first president in a  long time who has tapped into the actual thoughts

and heart of america and i'm not into the  heart thoughts and heart of the media and the

beautiful people but into the heart of america  and you wouldn't think he would he's a rich man

lives a rich man's life uh but somehow he's  tapped into the heart of the heart of america

what are your thoughts on that rob it's really  interesting right people are starting to wake up

to the fact that like i don't know where it is how  it is where you guys are but there the governor

came out with a report today that said there's  a hundred and sixteen thousand jobs in the state

of indiana that employers are looking for yeah  all over the country it's rob it's all over the

country it's all over the country they cannot  fill these jobs right the people are starting

to wake up and now these guys they're realizing  the government has created this absolute disaster

there's fires all over the place and i think and  i'm a little surprised but i think people it's

quicker than i expected are beginning to realize  this presidency is a disaster and they need to

spend their time solving these problems not  worried about the guy that used to be president

well i think that well i i wouldn't say it's a  let me make a tiny bit more complicated than that

i think what we're seeing is that the plans  that trump put into effect before he left office

uh have worked so fantastically that there's  been such a big boom that that there's now a

terrible shortage of workers but then for the  unfor the democrats are now making that far

worse by uh paying people to stay home and so  unless you're in a rather special circumstance

you make more money just staying home and watching  tv or doing whatever you're doing at home then you

would going to work so we are now in a situation  where we are paying people to be idle and there's

shortages of car searches and electronics uh  the shortages of automobiles i understand is

quite intense i see shortages even a fish at the  grocery store as i've said many many times i do

the shopping most of the shopping today my very  friend good friend jeff bought us some fish but

uh we i do most of the shopping i see shortages  even officially used to be in great abundance

a few months ago there's a tremendous shortage of  workers because we have tremendous prosperity and

the shortages compound by bribing people to not  work yeah it's really interesting here in indiana

there's very little that our governor does that  i agree with but he finally said we're done with

the federal unemployment because the federal  unemployment is bribing people not to work

and look i'm not naive a lot of his donor buddies  said we need workers and we can't find them

you got to cut this off at the pass so these  people go back to work but look i mean there's

problems all over this country right the the  border is a disaster you got the the the gas

issue which is a disaster i mean there's very  the middle east is on fire as we've talked about

and yet they're still focused on trump and  i think that's going to rub a lot of these

people in the middle the wrong way you're there  to solve problems you just keep creating problems

and you're not investigating actual problems it's  like that's the thing in the middle east is a

real serious problem because what is happening  is that because of the media's wickedness they

are stirring it up into an anti-semitic cauldron  and i was just being visited today by a charming

person and friend from the midwest who said that  in the midwest and the rural communities they're

all being uh brainwashed into thinking that it's  some kind of jewish conspiracy but of course

the data is absolutely clear-cut  that the arabs the palestinians

started this whole thing with the rocket attacks  there there was no a starting attack by the jews

they started a rocket attack following  gigantic stones throwing and shooting at the

israeli defense forces and somehow the media has  transformed that into israeli killing of innocent

palestinian children the israelis would be happy  to stop and never fire another shot ever again

it's the palestinians are always starting it this  was actually going to be my next segment because

the white house came out and said that what trump  brought really wasn't peace to the middle east

and i'm like thinking to myself i mean i get  that you could say something but here's where

in lies the major problem is that when nobody's  questioning what you're saying you're right

the white house could say if you're on the left  you could essentially say whatever the hell it

is you want if facts don't matter science doesn't  matter nothing matters because nobody calls you

out on it and that's where we are as a society  there are no gatekeepers there are zeros

sorry go ahead i'm sorry go ahead please there's  a wonderful scene a terrifying scene in a very

very fine german movie i don't know i think  it's a german movie called downfall about the

last days of adolf hitler it's with bruno gans  it's a great movie yeah it's a great movie very

very scary upsetting movie and at one point  uh ava brown who is hitler's girlfriend uh uh

is being told by her brother or maybe it's her  brother-in-law you must leave germany hitler

you have to leave you're going to die you're going  to get killed hitler is making a mistake staying

here you've got to leave and she looks at him evan  brown looks at her brother or maybe it's about her

brother-in-law and says but he's the fuhrer he  can't be wrong he's the fuhrer and that's how it

is with the media and the democrats if they're  the democrats they can't be wrong and they're

that's how the media sees it whereas if  they're the trump people they can't be right

no and and and robin we were discussing this  because there's so many different nuances and

things that we're going to delve into tonight  because they're so i brought this up the other

night there's so much there's so much [ __ ] out  there that it's almost like nobody could focus

on one on one piece right it it it's almost like  smoke and mirrors so much distraction over what's

going on kamala harris hasn't been to the border  in 55 days she's supposed to be in charge of she's

excuse me she's in charge of the border there's  so much going on by i mean it's it's rob it's

almost too it's sensory overload what they're  doing to us sensory sensory fight problems

the media just will not play a constructive  role they refuse to play a constructive role

the the problem the problem ben can speak to this  is voters are motivated by how things impact them

right yes the borders bad but they don't really  personally experience the border would not do

yes not yet not yet right but what they do  experience is that when they go to wendy's

and it's a 30 minute wait to get into the  restaurant or go through the drive-through

they do recognize that which is why i think the  worker shortage is such a big deal because i've

seen many many people start posting about  this on what the hell is going on out there

and they're starting to realize gee bribing  people not to work for the past year plus

might not have been a great idea and now this  child tax credit thing on top of it is really

pissing people off yeah and of course the people  who have it in them to work will work anyway

there's a certain kind of person who just  doesn't have it in him or her to work and

if the government makes it easy to make pay your  bills without working those people will not work

but it's very very sad but there are such people  in this country there are quite a few of them

there are quite a few of them in every country as  far as i know so pretty much but i want to i want

to get back to something quickly sir we've and  rob we've just discussed pretty much five things

that are are getting zero zero media attraction  i mean i don't even know what they are the wall

street journal has written about this okay ben  ben it's the you're bringing up one publication

out of the bill you know out of the thousands  one publication is talking about a certain thing

and even that one publication isn't what that one  publication used to be we all could you can see

the wall street journal isn't the conservative  beacon that at one point it was they were on

i'm referring to the front section sir where  people actually see the first you know you

know the first few pages that people read became  very anti uh the trump base it was it was they

they were not exactly on board but on that note  sorry if you just tuned in you are listening to

the world according to that man benjamin jeremy  stein i want to thank everybody that's watching

in the youtube channel sorry that bruno gans from  that movie just died oh i didn't even know that

i didn't know that either somebody said it in the  youtube chat and uh he was so scarily good in that

movie yeah he was he was terrific i think he might  have been nominated i i he was absolutely terrific

um remind everybody go to rumble.com catch our  latest episodes even the ones you've just seen

it'll help us a lot give us a rumble go to a apple  podcast or wherever you're streaming give us a

good review and of course ben stein um welcome  back to the world according to ben stein we're

joined tonight by rob kendall as always from 931  wibc bam the president and future of conservative

talk radio you know people listen i know you guys  love bongino rob kendall is the man okay rob is

screwed you know vangino rob kendall we got okay  the best and of course i happen to love bronzino

why why are we talking about bronzino um bon gino  but that's very funny and of course ben was on

good morning america this morning introducing  um uh i was on them and also on newsmax

oh you did that's great and i think gma is pretty  big too you know and people still wanting to hear

the bueller thing but i want to welcome everybody  back like i said so i want to get back real quick

real quick jude i didn't mean to cut you off  but ben stein will be on the mock and rob show

tomorrow at 10 15 eastern yes he will and and for  everybody to know we will be for if you decide

to stay an extra 15 minutes we will be recording  that special we're gonna post that on rumble too

but welcome back um i want to get to something  uh you're referring to um franklin graham

came out and said something and and i was  reading this story sir about israel too

about how they they they don't know how to  handle the media and and franklin graham

said the same thing about trump that even he  thinks that trump didn't handle the media and

and i'm thinking myself i love franklin graham  your father was your father was a great man but

sometimes you don't understand certain things no  matter and a lot of people don't understand this

no matter how much you capitulate no matter  what you try to do the media hates us

there's no there's no bowing or begging if israel  would have done this differently or if trump

would have done that differently they wanted  blood when it comes to israel they want blood

when it comes to christians they want blood  and when it comes to trump supporters they want

blood when it comes to unborn babies and when it  comes to unborn babies there's nothing you can do

that would make it that the media would write a  different narrative there's nothing that could be

done so why even try that can't be your your that  can't be how you treat this disease which is the

media ben what it has to be is is is is i don't  know that i will let you speak i i would i would

like to say if i may i am the oldest of us all  by quite a bit and i saw this happen with nixon

and nixon tried and tried and tried to be friendly  than me they had lots of press conferences he took

a lot of questions he would have enormous press  conferences not just little press conferences in

the press room he would have enormous giant press  conferences in the east rim of the white house

they went after him tooth and nail anyway there  is where they are the jackal pack i think it was

i'm not sure whether it was pat buchanan or  bill sapphire who called him that but the jack

when the jackal pack went after him there was  just no stop him but he could reach the voters

he won the largest electoral majority electoral  landslide there had ever been in 1972 he could

reach the voters but then the media could leapfrog  over the voters and tar and veteran and slam him

for doing nothing and they did the same thing to  trump if you look back on the four trump years

he didn't do anything wrong and yet now you have  to apologize for being a trump supporter of trump

fan but he didn't do anything wrong it's just  complete media hype and complete media sliming

that is is going on here it's just it shocks  the conscience and yet that's the way it is

rob kendall i always wondered why trump did  as much media availability as he did because

everything he liked he likes attention yeah but  every time he did it they took you know they

would never report on the good stuff they take  the one thing they wanted i know i know always

always always always and in a weird way trump  got super punished for being the most transparent

president we've probably ever seen yes well  nixon was quite transparent too but uh nixon

gave it back to them and uh and of course they all  acted like uh nixon was a terrible terrible guy

and nixon was an incredible president i'm writing  a book right now about nixon and me and uh it's a

very inconsequential book to everyone except those  of us who love nixon uh but i i i was coming i was

going through my files of the speeches i wrote  for nixon messages messages and one was the first

comprehensive national energy conservation plan  nobody ever gives him credit for that the first

universal health plan proposed by the president of  the congress nobody ever gives him credit for that

ending not just reducing ending school segregation  in the deep south nobody ever gives him credit for

that same with trump he accomplished miracles  saving israel saving israel especially

for israel he gets no credit for that especially  from the jews from us jews ben i have a question

yes what nixon was a republican but he wasn't  a right-wing grenade thrower why did the media

hate nixon so much you saw it from the inside why  did why did nixon perceive that the media hated

they hated him one because he did not come from  the upper ivy league a privileged beautiful people

class and they resented very much the fact  that he had become so successful anyway two

because he had gone after a state  department trader named alger hiss

and he had exposed alger hiss as being a soviet  spy and uh but aldress was a fair-haired boy of

the media and of the beautiful people in  the east and in los angeles and hollywood

and they never could i'm sorry forgive  nixon for exposing alger his but alger hiss

actually was a soviet spy responsible for his by  his leaks to the soviets for starting the korean

war and the media could never forgive him for  that and they leapt all over him in every way

and denounced him and then when he bounced back  after having been robbed of the election in 1960

it won and 68 the media just couldn't believe it's  like they couldn't believe that trump had won and

they went after him tooth and nail and when he won  an enormous landslide in 72 they just went berserk

for nothing even now look it's it's 50 years after  watergate still nobody can tell you what happened

and you know what i love about this show more  than anything rob you get to ask a question and

get a first-hand response of a person that was  there while this was going on and not him he was

there his father was there um and i want to tell  a really cool story at the end of the show for

ben's dad as israel is going through what they're  going through so don't let me forget because it's

ben tells me stories about his father and for  people that don't know who ben's father is i beg

you to google him he's a true he's a true american  hero and a true israeli hero and when ben tells me

stories about what his father did i get the chills  and i actually get the chills just thinking about

them god bless you and somebody raised them real  real quick jude i didn't mean to cut you off but

this is forrest gump where he sees the the  break-in ben is like you always call him the

genius gump and it's so true because like ben  experienced the things that we move you're like

wow wouldn't that have been cool to be there  yeah i know it's insane but i want to tell this

story and i don't want to tell a story somebody  in the chat brought up a good point and it's

listen four and a half years ago when trump was  running ben was not a trump supporter okay he was

a lindsey graham supporter he loved lindsey graham  he spoke some ill words of donald trump but on the

same token ben did have some dealings with donald  trump but i could tell you since day one of trump

being in office there has been no bigger supporter  there is nobody that said more than my lifetime

there's at an economist that has said i was wrong  about a lot of things that i thought to be the

truth in law like ben stein and that's what makes  ben stein your absolute greatest so yes four and

a half years ago there's video of ben saying and i  i gotta tell you i was on that ride home with him

afterwards and it was a very uncomfortable ride  because i was very upset with the way ben but 90

days into the trump administration i'll never  forget this 100 days in he was on a panel with

your former boss gergen and somebody else and they  had said this is the fir the worst first hundred

days of of a person's office and ben's like so  this is worse than the civil war and um it was it

was the perfect response and since pretty much day  one there's been no bigger defender of the trump

movement and donald trump than ben stein so yes we  all have had opinions of people that could change

that's what's called life and that's what this  show is about is about discourse and realizing

sometimes that we were wrong and it's okay to  admit you were wrong so i hope that answers that

question i want to get more back back more into  this media thing um we we have a media right now

that i heard god felt ben say this years ago he  doesn't think we could have won world war ii if

social media was out there and i truly don't bel  and i i don't the what the social media is doing

and we've discussed this within regards to israel  and with the social media we have rasheeda talib

who who who who who literally my sis somebody i  know very i'm very close to called her just in

you know looks at her and she said she's as ugly  as the insider she is in the outside she is joe

biden now capitulating that's how strong i know  he's praised her today he praised her today i know

unbelievable i mean an absolute anti-semite is  getting anti-semite that you know there are lots

of anti-semites out there she's anti-american  that's the main problem yeah people are allowed

to be anti-semites that's that's history that's  fine that's i mean i don't like it but it's fun

but she's an american congresswoman and she's  an anti-american that's what's so terrible

right i mean no no it's frightening that we have  right now in the house so many people rob that are

that are that are anti-american that are anti  the people that we've saved people like elon

omar who we saved from from from inevitable rape  inevitable death and they come here and they have

zero freaking gratitude does not one person in  the democrat party have enough balls to walk up

to elon omar and say where the [ __ ] is your  gratitude you'd be dead if not for this great

country nobody nobody said i'm sorry go ahead rob  sorry well i was just gonna say judas judah you

know it's it's interesting because those peop  some of the people you've mentioned could only

have succeeded in america i mean it we got into  this with the critical race theory stuff over the

videos that they teach these kids and they  teach these young people they hate this country

when in fact that they created this wonderful  system of governance and the ability where you if

you believe it and you dream it and you're willing  to work for it you can do whatever you want to do

and yet we're led to believe that america is this  awful place but we're littered unlike any country

in the history of the world of people who have  made themselves great and would not have been

able to do it anywhere else absolutely right i  mean it's gonna be i've said this before and i'll

say it again gladstone the great great english  statesman said that the american constitution

was the greatest document ever stressed  achievement of the human mind and hand of all time

glance and british statesmen very very  high order of magnitude of intelligence

we never hear anything like that when the  democrats in the house of representatives

are in the senate where is their gratitude where  is their gratitude for living in america i go

shopping almost every night not every night but  almost every night and walk up and down the aisles

of the grocery store i'm in tears of gratitude  this is a free country they're not going to arrest

me for being a jew or for being a republican at  least not yet i hope and and there's so much food

there's so many friendly smiling people this  is such a great place where is the gratitude

now you you raise an incredible point and you  great you raise a point where uh growing up in

an observant jewish home i was taught about how  you know the the the connection between america

and israel i was taught how much is america did  for israel and the gratitude that i should have

for this great country for for what they did you  know and i knew that that many of my people would

be would have been slaughtered again like sheep  if it not been for america for people like sadly i

didn't i didn't get the education until ben stein  about how much richard nixon did the best friend

not only that israel ever had but that the  jewish people have ever had the jewish religion

is approximately 6 000 years old there's never  been a better family of jews than richard nixon

ever i want to tell you robin i want to i think  what i think sometimes is the bigger problem and

we've spoken about this that the silent majority  has to get louder okay we've spoken about this and

there are more people that believe in god  and country or the universe and country

and righteousness then don't and it really rob  has to become our job when people are spewing vile

stuff about our country and who we are and who our  allies are we have to rob stand up to them and say

shut the you don't know what the hell you're  talking about yeah and it and it works a lot

of times and i don't know why people don't do it  more often it's like i don't know how it is where

you guys are out there but there's a big push in  central indiana now by a large group of parents

throughout many school districts to defeat this  critical race theory stuff they know that they're

teaching that in indiana rather oh yeah they keep  saying they're not teaching it but it's it's all

the tenets of critical race theory they just  say well we're not teaching it but in reality

it's you know the sel it's all of it and the  point is the parents here in all these different

school districts have gotten loud they said we  see you we know what you're doing we're going

to fight you and then we're going to kick your  ass in the next school board elections and take

our public schools back when people stand up it's  why trump got elected people in michigan and ohio

and pennsylvania and wisconsin who had never not  stood up for themselves in a very long time said

we're taking our country back and i don't know  why people don't do it more often because it

works when people do it and i'm going to get into  why i think that is after this next segment after

this brief break but if you just tuned in you  are listening to the world according to that

man benjamin jeremy stein and i consider it  an honor and a privilege to do this um people

just love the podcast we have had such a great  reception such a great reaction we are humbled

we thank you sorry for some of the cursing tonight  i know it offends some of you but sometimes

we sometimes i just don't know what else or how  else to say it's a papa kendall i'm sorry i know

your father probably isn't into the cursing he  hires all the time judah he swears all the time

okay good thank you i don't want to welcome you  remind you benstein.substance.com and of course um

apple podcasts and everywhere podcasts you  can download them and of course you can find

bennettspectator.org and rob every day at 931  wibc bam the future of conservative talk radio um

but i want to get into what we're discussing  because it all comes to leaders so when trump

was there the movement the base fought back right  we we we we had developed parlor we had developed

certain things where we had this thing to fight  back right now and i brought this up before the

show ben's time with rob when when when the  first hearing started with trump the democrats

republicans held the house in the senate um with  russiagate yes could i have some aspirin please 5.

he needs his aspirin now all right as soon as  you mention the congress i get ahead no no but

ben so so but so so they get they all of a  sudden we get russiagate when they have the

hat when republicans have the house and the  senate we allow this to happen when they have

the house and when they have the house they get  impeachment where in god's name are republicans

doing commissions on voting regularities um  notice how i said regularities youtube i didn't

say anything else where are the commissions  on um how this damn virus got into the country

where it came from where are the commissions that  lindsey graham promised us for god knows how long

on air biden's son where and and and here's the  problem we have no leaders ben because we don't

have we don't have adequate leaders but where  are the where are the commissions on why is

chicago the murder capital of the industrial  world where there's a commission on that

no you raise a great question where are any of the  commissions rob kendall and this is the problem

people have with the gop and when i  say gop i mean the grand old party

and republicans people look at them and  they and they're like what are you doing

yeah that's the problem every time you give  these guys power the republicans are great when

they're in the opposition they stink they stink in  terms of actual governance and that's the problem

you keep going back to these people either because  they sell you a load of bull crap that you go okay

well this is the eighth time they can't lie to me  eight times in a row or the democrats are so bad

and the problem is dating back to 1994 every  time you give them an ounce of power they lie

and they just become the party of big government  again it's just their buddies who get emboldened

instead of the democrats and it's just it's it's  horrible because we need viable opposition to the

democrats but we don't have but we don't have  it so we we have to be a teeny tiny atom in the

universe of opposition and we have to stand up and  say something wicked this way comes and uh it's

led by a hologram named joe biden and a i don't  know how to describe her name tomorrow harris

you know somebody actually um what is our  pro are we what we're having a youtube issue

i'm not exactly sure what it is um but i  apologize for people in the chat room i'm not sure

or we're all still here right we're all still  hearing each other i'm still i'm not exactly sure

um what why people are losing the feed but  so you you guys keep talking and i want to

figure this out but somebody brought up a point  beforehand which was as i missed trey gowdy

i love trey gowdy he was very tough during the  hearings i didn't really follow through quite

as much as i would like him to but he was  very very good now my granddaughter and son

and the former grand former daughter-in-law  a simply staggeringly beautiful young woman

uh is they live in south carolina they're uh and i  think one of them is about to move to the hometown

of mr graham and i hope to go visit her there  and see mr graham uh he he talks and i'll be

a good game i wish he could get more done but i  like him a lot and i really love trey gowdy a lot

yeah it's funny rob you have to be sometimes be  careful what you um what you wish for because

as much as i didn't like the job trade gowdy  didn't get accomplished at least trey gowdy was

a shark he was he was a shark trey gowdy's awesome  because he's on a whole bunch of old episodes of

forensic files he was a prosecuting attorney i've  seen him he's great he's great i love seeing those

and we need more people to bring the heat is that  show still on or has it been taken off because of

the political correctness oh it's on like uh  the netflix still has it and okay great great

great great great oh yeah uh headline news still  runs and oh yeah it's great old episode headline

news still runs it headline news wouldn't be a  channel if not for forensic files that they've

done a forensic files too and but it's just not  the same without that guy's voice peter thomas

yeah yeah i mean just the the pipes of an angel  just angelic pipes but that's the question ben is

that and i and this is and we were discussing  this the other night my biggest issue um with

you have like listen we know people have to make  money we know people are in the business of making

money but for four years certain of our allies  in the in the media from fox news certain people

pretty much gaslit the trump base into convincing  them that every day there would be a new you know

there would be a new indictment you had john  solomon you had all these different people in

there and never once was something brought  to the table and i think that's people's

biggest struggle right now is we where  where are the fighters in this movement

well we are we're here we are here we are and  there's trey and there's lindsay and lindsey

doesn't fight quite as hard as we would like him  to but he talks very well and he's a good he's a

good friend and we like him a lot and there will  be others and i know judah will probably kill me

after the show but i like mitch mcconnell quite a  lot i he's not fiery but i think he's really good

i love franklin graham i think he's wonderful i  think he's going to do great things forever um so

they're they're around we have to hear more from  them but they're around i'd like the governor of

florida very very much very very much i think he's  going to we're going to hear great things from him

ben when you visit with lindsey graham do you guys  like talk candidly about you know he has to know

could certain conservatives are you know just it's  a love-hate relationship right now he doesn't know

me well enough to know enough about me to know  anything about me all he knows is that i run into

him a couple of times in the greenville airport i  am very impressed that he carries his own luggage

uh he knows that my son and granddaughter  and former daughter and i'll live there

uh he knows that i'm a fairly substantial  contributor to him and uh other other than

that i don't think he knows anything about me i  guess he knows i'm republican he probably knows

what i've seen from ferris bueller i don't think  he knows much about me at all but i am a supporter

because i would love to be able to get these  politicians like candidly and like lindsey

graham because he was great during kavanaugh he  was awesome yes he was fantastic during kavanaugh

and by the way and by the way we keep bringing  getting back to this issue i've been around

watching congressional hearings for a long time  a really long time i'm 76 i'm an old man and i've

been watching congressional hearings since i was  five or six years old and i have never seen as

slimy an attack on a human being as i've see as  i saw during the kavanaugh hearings and somehow

the people who did those completely got away  with it nobody was prosecuted nobody was punished

that was a far worse attack on the capital  than anything that happened on january 6th

or whatever was it january's until december 6th  january 6 no no ben i mean you're talking about

a year of things that were or year and a half okay  let's be real you're talking about four years of

something disgusting of absolute disgust that  went that work that an insurrection or whatever

you want to call it how about a coup a a real  life attempted coup it's right it was an attempt

at work but look who's president yeah no right of  of of a presidency and they like to and they like

to um uh i mean it's just it's it's scary it's  it's frightening um but right now we are in the

midst of of of actual of a hostile takeover by the  left by this six seven percent of this squad rob

of of or as laura luma likes to  call them the um hamas caucus

that that nobody that nobody has enough guts  to stand up to these people why is that you

that why is that because if you stand up to  them they will call you the worst word in

the english language which is a racist and  i think we have to go back to them and say

we're the ones who've suffered from racism  we know what racism you miss ocasio-cortez

don't know the first thing about it we do and  we're telling you you're a liar a liar a liar

we were talking about that today on the show  about how when you call everyone a racist it

loses its meaning and i don't i don't know when  we get to that point but i'm hoping that's more

regular people not the people that are  super political or involved in politics

are recognizing that that when you call everybody  that that it does it just doesn't mean what it

what but it does drop i wish you were right but it  does it's just like when they call call someone i

mean there was someone i forget who was some  politician and he might have been a democrat

who was being called on the carpet for inviting  a woman to lunch and he and he said oh no it was

kate says bill gates he's been being roasted for  inviting a woman in his office to lunch by email

and saying if it makes it all uncomfortable to  forget i haven't sent for inviting a lodge you're

going to invite her to a motelly invited lunch so  you can call people sexist and go on racist i have

to start calling again it's like a schoolyard it's  like calling people names in a schoolyard that's

that's what american politics have become  and americans social life have become like

you see ben but the biggest problem that these  people face like bill gates and and these people

that get attacked like cuomo the lack of  sympathy that they have the lack of empathy

that they have when people like us are getting  hit and they don't come to our defense like god

oh my god dude are you kidding are you kidding  they're not going to have any empathy for people

no what my point being is so there's gonna  be very little defense for them because the

one people they already gotten away with it  cuomo's completely gotten away with it judah

he's completely gotten away with it he's he's  not in trouble anymore he's completely gotten

away with it and bill gates will get away  with this because he's fantastically rich

and cumber will get away with it because he's a  leader of left-wing democrats they're all going

to get away with it's only us who don't get only  we on the conservative side don't get away with it

no i mean you're completely right um and i'm  very sorry for the technical difficulties i

have no idea what's going on with the youtube live  stream maybe it has to do because rob wants to do

the interview with ben so badly that it's acting  up on us i don't know what it is it's going to be

really choppy on youtube and of course on rumble  i apologize for that um but on that note if you

just tuned in you are listening to the world  according to ben stein if you could still hear us

i know it's a bit blurry i actually see a lot of  people in the chat room right now so there we are

um but we're joined tonight from uh by bobby  kendall do people call you bobby or just call

me whatever you want uh just don't call me shirley  um and of course america's humble servant benjamin

jeremy stein um we've been discussing a lot  tonight and um you know somebody said to us

before the show your friend from the midwest was  asking us how devastating it is for us what's

going on in israel and i think um to get back to  what she said what's more what's more hurtful i've

never seen the lack of support for israel the  the amount of lack of support from americans

we have these pro-palestinian marches going  on in the streets of new york city all across

america ben you have the social media stuff going  on and i think i want to tell you something that's

one of the most heartbreaking things for me it's  heartbreaking it's absolutely heartbreaking and

what's heartbreaking to me is that a number of  the people who are marching against israel are

african-american and they of all people should  know what it's like to suffer from racism and

they should know that what great friends and jews  have been to them and it's just heartbreaking that

they're that they're that they're on the wrong  side of this and it's heartbreaking that so many

young people are the wrong side but young people  are almost always on the wrong side of everything

you know ben i used to i i i don't know i don't  know if that's if that's the case anymore where

you know i i i social media has really changed the  the the ability of social media to bully people

to put people in a corner to make  people think and feel a certain way

has really changed i don't think children anymore  have have any ability to to think critically

to think outside the box and to be different from  their friends i think you may just have said a

mouthful it's very scary it's very very scary  what are your thoughts on that rob well i we

were talking about this earlier today the the lack  of critical thinking that people have i mean it's

like walmart comes out and says you don't wear a  mask in the store anymore well in our state 40 of

the people have been fully vaccinated roughly and  then we're talking about it today on the air and

when you take the people that are fully vaccinated  and then the people who who've had it on top of

that you're looking at probably eighty percent of  the population that he there has had it and has

the antibodies or has been fully vaccinated  and yet when i went to walmart the other day

that have removed the mass policy it's still  probably 70 percent of the people maybe 75

are wearing the mask it's just it's people aren't  stopping and thinking about it and that means a

huge group of fully vaccinated people are still  wearing the mask no i mean ben and ben and i think

we're discussing this before nobody knows what the  hell is going on with you know what the policy is

somebody in the chat i i've never seen a chat some  in the chat tell us what the policy is i don't

know no nobody knows why i'm going to pavilions  they're very strict about me wearing a mask

right but target on the other hand has said  that you do now don't need to wear a mask

but i don't know if california has adopted the  state of you know the federal because you can't

federally this isn't federal stuff rob right  it's state stuff trump made sure that he did

not federally mandate anything right but but the  but the problem is they emboldened these governors

and mayors to do this because they kept  letting fauchi run out there and spew bullcrap

fauci's first initial reaction on mass which was  probably the real one was completely correct when

he said they're largely ineffective and you don't  need them that was his initial reaction before it

got politicized and well that's what so i'm sorry  i please i beg your pardon no no i just they

kept running this guy out of here who would change  his mind as often as he changed his underwear

well what i like is that here we know those of  us who have even the slightest bit of knowledge

of science are just a very slight bit know  that a little teeny uh viral particle is so

tiny compared to the a mask the the apertures in  the mask it might as well be a cannonball being

fired at your head and yet we're still told that  a mask is effective it's scientifically comical i

i don't i don't know if i told this story  but i had a um a loved one that was in the

hospital and they're fine now and it was a they  had a surgical procedure but every time you'd

go into the hospital unless you had one of those  surgical masks they would make you take it off and

they would give you a mask in order to enter the  hospital and i was asking one of my buddies who

delivers uh medical equipment to hospitals i said  why do they do that he said because the medical

people know those cloth masks are bull crap they  don't do anything accomplish anything they're a

complete waste of time and space yet they're out  there saying oh wear your mask you'll be fine

and people and people in malibu the style in  malibu where i have a house is that you just wear

a bandana a hippie bandana you don't even wear a  mask or a hippie bandana and so that's the thing

is it masks work fine there's not much evidence  that they do which is why fauci said it in the

beginning that you didn't need a mask that's why  the surgeon general under trump said initially

you didn't need a mask but you're just you're  lying to people and you're deceiving them and

then people just tune you out when you actually  have pertinent information but that's all we

i'm sorry to say i and again i'll go back to the  fact that i'm so much older than either of you

the government largely is in the  business of lying and deceiving

sorry to say that so are so are scientific  experts i'm focused on the youtube rob so

talk because i know i dude i think your youtube  may be okay i was watching it on my phone just a

moment ago and it looks fun to me it go it keeps  on going in and out like and and you know what

it could just be simply that youtube is having  their issues right now youtube could be down

youtube could be having streaming issues i  don't want to get all larry claiming on youtube

yet just just just yet and i really do  think um larry clayman should be a verb

um you know to not go all larry claiming on  something but no that would be an adjective

is that an adjective or a verb

you got larry clayman would be a verb right  but if to go all larry clayman would be that

would be well let's see we could use  him as a verb as an as as an adjective

and but anyways i i i i think what we're  discussing is it is this real frustration

that's going on in the in in in this country right  now it's it's i'm very frustrated about it about

almost everything but i'm awfully awfully awfully  glad that i happen to have as my wife the world's

finest human being let's be thankful for what's  good in our lives i am married to a saint she's

beautiful she's intelligent she's forgiving she  is the most kind saintly god-like person i've

ever known in my life if god is love then my wife  is a big chunk of god and and i am so blessed and

i look at the world and i see how [ __ ] up it  is partnering with my speech and then i think

a few feet away from me is the world's  finest human being and my eyes brighten

see okay and that's beautiful and i know you  believe it and it's extremely well said but i

want to get to something once again and i want  to get to this mask thing and i brought this

up the other night rob kendall the rob kendall  the the the the midterms are coming up very soon

they are coming up really soon i don't think  they realized how quickly tr how good as ben

said the economy is strong because of trump but so  is the vaccination process strong because of trump

and i don't think that they planned on this being  i thought they i think they really thought they

could keep us in for another two years and all  this back and forth is nothing more than keeping

us from having free and fair you know from people  going to the polls live from the from from and

from certain things that wouldn't cause voter  regularity rob yeah and and the the issue like

the red sox boston that you don't get any more  blue than boston came out and said well starting

next week we're going to have full capacity at  the red sox games and gillette stadium with the

patriots play is going to be full this fall you  can only keep the lie up for so long and people

look around and see what happened in texas you  know the rangers had a full stadium for opening

day there was no super spreader event at the super  bowl in tampa it wasn't a super spreader event

people see these things and eventually they catch  on you're lying to us you're deceiving us and

then the problem is that that it starts to topple  over on itself because it's so easily disprovable

and people are only going to put up with it  for for so long now you're completely right i

you know ben i think texas had its first day today  they reported no covides which we don't even know

what that means anymore a coveted death or a  knockout right right but it was it was the first

it was it was the first day and and remember they  were considered they were called neanderthals ben

i know texas is often way ahead of the curve and  by the way that someday some statistician is going

to go through the covet deaths and is going to  find out that there are an awful lot of people who

died of things not related to government and the  dakota deaths were greatly overseen don't get me

wrong it's a bad terrible thing awful evil thing  terrible terrible thing but uh there's been a lot

of hanky bankers the statistics about that and  yes let's go back to being fully open everywhere

and somebody brings up in the chat which is  working right now that they're i i and and ben

knows this about me i have a really usually and so  does rob i mean have a really good pulse we all do

have a real i mean so do you in the chat have a  really good pulse on the midterms and i could be

honest with you i do not think i have a good point  i i could be honest with you i do not either rob

i have no idea what the future what what what the  midterms are gonna are gonna are gonna bring forth

but i do know one thing we have a better  chance if the mass mandates are lifted

yes but the problem is a whole bunch  of these republican governors like that

idiot in ohio completely bought into this and  they do even more stupid stuff on top of that

like trying to say well we'll raffle away  a million dollars if you get a vaccination

we're literally what about that woman in  michigan for god's sake where did she come from

but but i don't know how the republicans get the  high ground on this because they these governors

and mayors in some cases who are republican have  been just as guilty as the democrats i agree and i

totally agree every everyone has strong detours  it's not just that everybody's wronged the

kool-aid you used to have republican governors for  the you really had some really strong republican

governors in the past and the republican governors  were witnessing right now are i don't even want

to use the word rhino but they're spineless  you know like rob's guy in indiana spineless

you have these people that are voted in sort of  through the oligarchy of the state just being an

r and it's it's it's it's you're getting these  spineless republicans who haven't fought back and

i love desantis you're right ben desantis is the  and abbott are two of the best governors in the

country yeah i think desantis is fantastic and rob  the question is why can't others follow their lead

what what is this even chrissy gnome on the trans  stuff back down you know in south dakota and the

ncaa which is great news capitulated and said  we're not going to move events the ncaa caved in

today or i don't want to say caved in they finally  acted normally because what are they going to do

the states where the ncaa thrives tend to be  republican states what are they going to do

move the games rob to like san francisco because  the issue is and this is why the media in part

hated trump so much and i think it was rush who  initially pointed this out the media didn't make

trump so they couldn't break him only trump could  make break the bond with his voters and so many

of these republicans man they buy into this idea  that they have to be liked by the media that they

have to be liked by people who are going to vote  for them no matter what they do and so they're

weak they're brutally weak and the the front  runner for the republican nomination for president

right now is not even close is ron desantis  his people we love him because we love him

they're looking for leadership people  who are real they're looking for people

who are going to be honest with them and ron  desantis has been that and so many of these

weak establishment republicans like this loser  holcomb that we have here in indiana they just

they don't get it they don't care they're not  strong enough they don't have the ability to fight

i like santa's a lot i like trump better but we're  very lucky we have desantis and i we're very lucky

because our florida estate which i think is a  bellwether for the nation but as to the midterms

i don't know either i'm just terrified of what  has happened because we've become media wise a

one-party state and that is very scary we've  become i mean you just you you just said then

and it's so true and it's so frightening this  this it's more than just being a one media state

it's being a one media government yes yes yes  yes yes yes yes we are being run by the media

and that is frightening ben the other day  i mean this is so glossed over and nobody's

talking about it rob you're a reporter a guy  a person that wrote over 50 stories for saying

yeah about the tweeting about you know about  landing his tweets by saying hitler yeah and

saying the world needs more hitler's and and  saying all that stuff rob did you see that yeah

yeah and and that and and and nothing nothing  and i'm not gonna say it wasn't even on the front

page of the new york times or the wall street  journal it was incredible yeah it was absolutely

incredible we're running out of time um what i'm  going to do because i want to get this interview

for rob's show is i am going to end the live  stream and then i am going to try to redo the live

stream so that way and we'll see if rob could pull  it like that so i want to thank everybody that's

been listening tonight i am sorry for the youtube  technical difficulties there's nothing i could

do about it what i am going to do is upload the  episode from my computer to youtube so you could
